Problems Logging On to eTAP
Possible problems:
1. Your computer does not allow you to enter a password but give you the error wrong passsword.
2. Your password is CaSe sensitive. Make sure you type it in correctly.
3. You are definitely typing in the password correctly and are still having problems accessing eTAP
4. There is a problem with your internet connection
5. The eTAP server may be down
6. If none of the above solves your problem, call the following access numbers

Are you getting 'logged out/timed out' error messages when using eTAP?
Possible reasons:
1. Your computer has cached the worry password and needs to be cleared'.
2. Your modem (home or school) is set up to automatically disconnect from the internet after a certain amount of time 'inactive'.
3. You have been disconnected from the internet and your modem has taken too long to log back on to the internet and eTAP.
4. The speed of the internet (speed of your modem/problems with your ISP) can mean your browser will time out because it is taking too long to receive the requested information.
5. You have requested a very process intensive report from within eTAP which takes too long to create. Note: This will not occur when inputting information into eTAP (eg inputting student assessment information).
6. Error page:
The page cannot be displayed
Other problems:
Pages 'disappearing'
Clicking on save and nothing happens

Mon 02nd November 2009, very slow connections 8:55am - 9:25am
Mon 19th October 2009, code vesion problem 8:00am - 9:10am
Tue 01st September 2009, servers require reboot 1:47pm - 2:10pm
Tue 01st September 2009, reboot servers 8:45am - 9:10am
Mon 31st August 2009, reboot servers 10:50am - 11:10am
Wed 22nd April 2009, Shut down for Major update 11.00pm - approx 3pm startup
